Le Terroir Parisien Palais Brogniart (aka Bourse) was on Colette's "Go Back To" list and so we did so with my friend who bicycled with me from Tours to the Pointe du Raz 52 years ago and has lived here practically nonstop ever since.  It was a beautiful day and almost sitting outside weather but we chose to eat indoors.

Colette started with the Crecy (aka carrot) soup with bacon; my old biking pal had the spinach (aka Montfermeil) with mushrooms; and I had the clear winner - a warm salad of artichoke petals and hearts.

Colette had liked the spinach with mushrooms so much on her last meal here she ordered it and my friend and I had the cocotte of stewed rabbit with mushrooms, baby onions (yum) and potatoes - shown in and out of the pot.

We finished up with a "very light" floating island and a tarte tatin "big enough for two" which was certainly truth in advertising.

Our bill, with one bottle of Marius, no bottled water and three dreadful coffees, was 219 E, thus 82.33 E a couple.
